Thought out this class I have improved in many different ways. After having the opportunity to just type however I want and what came naturally to me it made me feel more confident in my writing skills. Developing my confidence as writer as in general more comfortable and confident on my writing skills, being able to write like how I am really helped with my writers confidence. With being able to fully be who I am on opening up more and telling personal stories to connect to my works and talking about whatever comes to my mind. This class also improves on the way I read for main points while documenting information form text, books, libraries, film, and internet. While reading for the points I used in my Annotated Bio essay, I was able to form better skills on taking out the main ideas of each piece of text I have written about. This skill has helped me out in many of my other classes and paper I have written. Another skill I gained is developing self-assessment skills. While writing for all my essays I re-read them to see if what I was typing made sense as well to see if this is what I want to be written down and if what I was writing was something I would say on my own accord. And while re-reading my work lead me into develop editing and proofreading skills. As stated before I have re-read all my papers multiple times to make sure what I am saying makes sense and give off who I am as a person. Finally, the most important skill I learnt in this class is having fun while developing as a writer. It was an amazing experience being able to be me in a paper and not having to write for someone else all the time, be able to develop me as a writer was the most fun this course shown to me.
